AmbiX and Headlocking Music

Maybe this was Ceri or someone else at the AES conference but I seem to remember mention of a way to fake headlock for music in an AmbiX output by flipping the tracks our of phase or something along those lines.

Does anyone have some advise or a workflow for this?

The method was originally conceived by some of our other testers (Source Sound) and involves flipping the left right channels of stereo source and placing them in left/right surround. This can either be done by reorganizing the channels and playing them out in LRLsRs config or using subpaths in the IO setup window.

Ceri does this then feed into the render as a bed or merger into the post render B-format track in Pro Tools?

Into the renderer as a bed.

Wow, this works great. Thanks!
