Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos encoders support two input formats: DAMF and ADM

  • DAMF (Dolby Atmos Master Format) is a output format that is used by Dolby content creation tools used in studios and post-production suites
  • ADM is an standardized audio format based on broadcast wave. It is standardized in ITU-R BS.2076. Metadata is stored in a XML chunk at the beginning of the file.
