Dolby does not recommend muting or soloing individual speaker outputs of a Dolby Digital Plus with Dolby Atmos Decoder. A Dolby Atmos mix should always be monitored in its entirety with all speaker outputs enabled. When a Dolby Digital Plus with Atmos stream is monitored using a legacy decoder or legacy mode is selected, then the output channels may be soloed or muted. However, use of a legacy decoder or mode will limit the output configuration to 7.1 or 5.1.
